Here is what you need to know, to get a frame the right size, have a choice of colors/style, and get it cheap.
Getting The Right Size For Your Scratch Map.
Although a Scratch Map may seem like a movie poster size, it is not.
This is a list of standard sizes of frames
- Smallest – 8.5” x 11”
- Small– 11” x 17”
- Medium – 18 “ x 24”
- Large– 24” x 36” most common standard poster size (Super A1) Fan movie poster
- Movie Poster Size – 27″ x 40″, 40″ x 60″ you will see this at the theatre or a bus stop.

- Size – Measure your map. This will be your required frame size.
- Style/Color – Pick the color of your frame and the material (plastic, wood, etc)
- Buy the Frame the exact size of your map or a bit smaller. You can always crop your map to fit the frame.
